Chateau Bradbury is an ideal filming location that has only been available as a Film Location for the past few years. The Chateau is situated on over 2 acres of lush, green surroundings, and the historical 7,000 sq. ft. main residence is set back more than 300 ft. from the street, allowing for an impressive drive up to the main entrance.

This English Country/French Chateau style home is perfect for productions requiring that hard to find East Coast, Northwest, Upscale or European look, yet is located well within the film industry's 30 mile zone, just a few miles east of the City of Pasadena. Travel time is approximately 20 minutes from Burbank or Downtown Los Angeles.

There are no restrictions for night filming, nor neighbor problems associated with this location. On-site parking for large productions is never a problem, eliminating the need for added security and street parking permits. And since The Chateau is located in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County, permits are both inexpensive and easy to obtain on short notice. In fact, since The Chateau is a relatively new filming location, having never experienced the typical filming problems associated with other areas of Los Angeles, the County permit office has even waived neighbor signatures on some productions, in the past.

Past Production Companies have raved about the relaxed and hassle-free environment that this location, and the owner, provides. But perhaps the best news is that the homeowner has an extensive entertainment industry background, having worked in the entertainment industry for many years. Translation: No Homeowner nightmares here!

The Chateau's location fees are very reasonable, typically based on the scope and size of your production, usually considerably less than similar locations in other heavily used neighborhoods.

The Chateau is secure and private, with excellent screening of neighboring properties. Step onto the property and you'll feel as though you're in the middle of one of the most exclusive estate areas of Beverly Hills or Hancock Park, but without all the hassles and associated cost. There are two separate driveways, from both the front and rear streets, allowing access for staff, deliveries, and catering, even during exterior filming.

The Chateau has large rooms with 11 ft. high ceilings, and multiple doorways to each room. The kitchen is gigantic, over 400 sq. ft., with high ceilings, and is completely original with white glass faced cabinets through out, a Wolf stove and Sub-Zero refrigerator. On the first floor, there are fourteen 10 ft. tall French doors, allowing ample lighting options and access to all areas from any direction. Set dressing and color changes are rarely a problem. However, the Chateau is film ready, and the interior is beautifully wall-papered and painted in accordance with what one would expect in an upscale home.

The Chateau also has an all brick interior and exterior garage with multi pane windows, and a cozy chauffeur's quarters above. The garage interior has been used as a studio loft in past productions. There's also a large basement with good access, and the third floor is a self-contained 1,700 sq. ft. attic apartment with interesting interior views.

The Chateau has many different looks, allowing it to be used as anything from an upscale home for the background in a car commercial, to it's use as a private school, hospital, bed and breakfast, or private institution.
